Carlisle Partnership AGM

Once in each year an Annual General Meeting of the Carlisle Partnership Forum will be held.

The business of each Annual General Meeting usually includes

  • consider the work and activities of the Carlisle Partnership during the previous year
  • elect a Chair and Vice-Chair of the Forum and Executive
  • review and determine the membership of the Carlisle Partnership Executive

Carlisle Partnership Forum meetings will:

  • be a Community Conference at which issues of strategic importance within Carlisle can be discussed.
  • consider relevant updates from Priority areas
  • be relevant to the Carlisle Community Plan.

Carlisle Partnership AGM Forum 2014

On Thursday, 24 July 2014 over 70 partners from across the city attended the AGM Forum. Key areas of focus included the Annual General Business, Community Plan update, Promoting Carlisle, Emerging Partnership work and Digital Carlisle. A copy of the presentations can be found below.

It also gave us the opportunity to celebrate success, showcase new partnerships and launch new projects. Examples include Food Carlisle and Hospital at Home. Awards were presented by Public Health England to the Leader for achieving World Health Organisation Healthy City designation and to the Homelife Carlisle for achieving Highly Commended in the National HIA Awards in the Integration Champion category.

The day finished with a locally sourced lunch with healthy, sustainable, delicious food produced within the Carlisle district.

Carlisle Partnership Newsletter 2014

Our newsletter highlights some of the great work that has been achieved by the various Carlisle Partnership organisations during the last year.

They follow some of the main themes – community safety; economy; food; health; housing and rural issues.

There is so much going on that we could not showcase every success story, but it shows the wide range of work underway.
