GRADUATION CALL TO ACTION….

Can any Partners help?

Can any Partners help? (City Centre location preferable due to site, but not restricted). The University are keen to work with you, our wonderful partners to give a warm welcome to visitors and celebrate graduates success between the 22nd – 24th November 2017. This will see up to 4000 people being in the City, dependent on the number of ceremonies per day.

Would any businesses or organisations like to be involved in helping to celebrate the graduation within Carlisle city centre this November. Here are some ideas of how you could get involved:

  •          This is an opportunity to promote Carlisle via the news channels, via social media and within the press. Would you all be willing to share and tweet about from your organisations posts about Carlisle and the graduations? You could share posts or create your own posts.
  •          Could you dress your windows in green and white during 22nd to 24th November, this will be complimented with bunting in and around the trees in the centre, promotion on the civic centre roundabout and in the Tourist Information Centre, plus the wonderful parade of students walking through the city centre.
  • Offer a graduation menu, or cocktail, showcasing our local food / local food offer. Or a discount to graduates?

In return if businesses want to promote themselves with an offer to students and their families that would encourage them to go further into the city and spend in the  local economy, the University would be more than happy to put the information up on their website. A link to this page would be included in all correspondence with the students and their families in advance of the festival. We can also set up a page on our partnership site for a case study and further information.
